Limit of suspend_data for Scorm 2004 3rd and 4th edition
Feb 16, 2015
Hi,
I don't know if anyone could help me on this, but it's related to the suspend_data for SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th edition. The number of characters that is supported for these editions is 64000. Is it possible that my e-learning course has reached that limit. My course includes 1500 slides with 1600 triggers. Students need to type a lot of text because it is a kind of interactive business plan. Why do I say that I may have reached the limit of suspend_data because when I type text and I went to a quarter of my course, all of the following essays are never displayed when you restart the capsule. If I remove some text that frees me from place to type other texts elsewhere in my business plan.
Is it possible that I have reached the limit of 64000?
Thank you.

Hi Phillippe,
You could use LMS debug mode to gather all the suspend data and then drop the suspend_data into the text editor of your choice (I use Microsoft Word) and perform a word count/character count to see if you've hit the 64,000 limit.
