I have a slide with two lines that have the entrance effect "Wipe" with the option "from the top". Instead, they fly in from the left, as shown by this video.
I filed a support ticket because I thought this was a bug, but the error turned out to be mine. Somehow, I had set the Entrance effect to From Left. Changing that to None fixed the problem.
