I am new to Storyline and I am trying to link a button to an image so when the button is clicked an image is displayed. I could link it to a slide but I am looking for a more immersive feel and if I make the image the size of the slide to cover the slide it loses its clarity. Thank you for any suggestions!

Select the image and set its initial state to Hidden.
With the button selected, add a new trigger to Change state of image to Normal when user clicks button.
