Link the scorm packages with imsmanifest

Apr 24, 2018

Hello everyone!

I have a course with two scorm packages and I would like to know if the articulate does not automatically generate an imsmanifest file linking these two modules? Should I do this manually in the generated file for each scorm package?

Thank you!

Hi Juliana,

Are you trying to track two different SCORM packages as one course? If not, please do expound on what you are looking to accomplish.

If you are looking to track two different SCORM packages as one course, you'd want to employ multisco, which allows you to merge separate SCO into one.

Articulate Storyline and Articulate Presenter allow you to track a course either by the number of slides viewed or by one specific quiz (result slide). However, you may be able to track more than one SCO (shareable content object) in a single course, using any of the following unsupported methods

Alternatively, you may want to consider merging the two course's material inside storyline and exporting as one SCORM package. This way individual modules will be compiled into the same imsmanifest file without you needing to do this manually. This way it will be a single SCO versus a packaged multisco.

Hope that helps!
