Link to URL not working when publishing for a website
Mar 14, 2016
Hi. I have a short interaction I want to host on our intranet site that includes a link to a policy, but I can't get the link to work. I'm new to Articulate Storyline, but I've researched the issue and haven't been able to find a resolution. Here's where I am at this point:
- I removed all animation with the link
- I published to the web
- I copied the files to our intranet site
- I get this error message when viewing the course from the web: The hyperlinks feature on this slide has been disabled while viewing locally because your browser does not support it.
- I added the link to the Resources tab, but nothing happens when I click the link from there.
I would appreciate any help that points me in the right direction to find a solution.
Thanks!

Strange,
Have you tried to check the link in the trigger Wizard?
Because we usually get this error when the published file is not online!
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply! I tested the link before publishing and it worked fine.
I was finally able to get it to work by using the HTML5 file. Some of my animation didn't work in that format, but that's easy enough to fix.
