It seems to just create a new scene. I wanted to add three more slides to the end but forgot to say it was from a screen recording. I can link the two scenes so my last slide of 2 (2.9) goes to 3. But i can't seem to make them part of the scene.
The default setting when inserting a new screen recording is that they're imported into a new scene. You can easily copy/paste them into the scene you'd like, or within Story view click on the scenes you'd like to move and drag them over to the new scene. You'll want to look for the little blue arrow that appears after or before a slide to know that they'll be dropped there.

Hi Julian,
You can always copy and paste slides between scenes when you are in the story view.
