We are creating a platform in Storyline that allows us to use it a the the main navigation to launch content both within and outside the Storyline player (Primarily PowerPoint Slides used in ILT . All other file types seem to launch (both relative and absolute paths) with the exception of PowerPoint presentation or PowerPoint Show files.
Our goal is to hand instructors a flash drive with all of the content ready to go and launch from these absolute paths.
Any suggestions? I though this was going to be easy, I figure I am just missing something obvious... or not.
it could be that the MIME for PPT(x) files is not installed.
On the other hand, you could convert your PPTx in a storyline and have your main Story open the otherone as a URL. It will prevent your PPT-files to start living a life of their own out of the intended contxt...
