Instead of inserting a large video into my storyline project, I want to link to it......our LMS does not like streaming and the file size would be massive.
So I was reminded of "linking" to the videos from my yoda-master. The idea would be to upload the video to a media server to launch the video from there. I do not have a ton of experience using storyline to link to things. Is there a better way?
Linking is he only way to connect to external content, such as videos. There are two ways to link to videos, using an embed code or a URL. Here is some info on this, using YouTube as an example.

Wistia is a great streaming service if you would like to embed your videos in SL, although it is not free. There are other choices as well. There is some sample embed code in this thread: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/detecting-end-of-wistia-video-with-javascript
