Links don't work

Hi,
i've implemented links in my Articulate storyline file. I published the file for web use.
I've implemented the file in a website, the mouse-hover effect works, but nothing happens on a click.
When i open my project in a browser (firefox) from harddrive (story.html) the same results appear.
I've implemented https://www.google.de/ and http://www.google.de/, in both variations, new Window and same window. I've checked the links in the Articulate Trigger wizard and they work there.
When i open the story_html5 file the links work. therefore i assume it's no problem with the links or my settings.
What i can do to make my links work? Any options or ideas?

You need to run it from a url, not the local machine and links will not work in preview mode.
Do you have the published file on a server? Try the url to that server and the links should work.
They don't work locally due to flash security issues.

the link implemented in my project is to google (as a test), http://www.google.de.
Th project itself is implemented in a website, but u need access.
what do you need?
Is there not a direct link you can supply to your story.html file of your published online project?
It's not published for free.
I can not provide access. What would be the difference? I guess you could see the hovereffect and no effect on click. What would be your next step then?
Check for pop-up blockers as link will open in a new window?
And have you tried different browsers.

I'd agree with Tracy's recommendations here, that you'll want to make sure that you're testing the published content within the intended environment (web server, LMS, etc.). I'd also check out the system requirements here, and when testing in different browsers ensure the Flash player for each browser is up to date.
