LMS Completion Status
Nov 01, 2012
Hello,
I have a 30 minute storyline training module that I am currently unable to configure so that it is marked as "completed" in our LMS (Cornerstone) after the learner is through with the online course. I have created another class similarly and have not had this same difficulty.
I have tried deleting and re-loading the class to the LMS as well as lowering the number of slides required to pass completion within the publisher itself. I have run out of ideas. Is there a way I can fix this?
Thanks in advance!

What have you selected in the Tracking and Reporting boxes when publishing?
Have you tried using something like SCORM Cloud or RELOAD Player to see what happens with completions etc?
I had this problem with our LMS. Only way I got around it (which is a hack) is to open the relevant scorm files within the published LMS folder and change the PASSED message to "Completed". Although you'll need to do this each time you reupload those files.
Hopefully this will be fixed in the new version.
HI Simon,
This is how my reporting and tracking optionslook. I decreased the minimum number of slides to less than the full amount which has not helped. I have not tried loading them elsewhere for testing. I will give that a shot.
Hi Sarah
I don't see anything abnormal there. I'd certainly recommend creating a free account with SC and doing some testing. Also, are you able to do any debugging to track slide activity so as to get a more detailed breakdown of what the LMS is picking up?
I am having a similar issue. Did you find a solution?
Hi Carol!
I did eventually figure it out. I ended up restructuring some of my slides to take advantage to layers. It was the first module I built and I think that in letting the learner choose the order of some of the slides I didn't account for the actual number of slides that would never be viewed. I had essentially created duplicate slides along two different paths and didn't account for the fact that the varying paths would effect the end "minimum number of slides viewed to complete".
Good Luck!
Thanks! I will need to review my content for hidden or skipped slides.
