It sounds like it may be an issue with the LMS storing the resume data. If you close the course intentionally (when the browser hasn't frozen up or been forced to close) do you see the same result?
Well, that is good news, at least. It sounds like it isn't an issue with the resume data, then. It may have only occurred because of the crash with Internet Explorer. Hopefully, this will be something that doesn't happen again in the future!

Not sure... I havent tried. Wait up...
Looks like it doesn't. Only when Explorer freezes and must be forcefully closed.
