LMS for Storyline

Good morning Heroes!
I am new to the community and hope you'll be able to help me out. I've been using the trial for Storyline and have been really impressed by its capabilities. Our company has been using an LCMS called Trainersoft beginning in 1999 and they are no longer making it. I am leaning towards Storyline but we have no LMS in place. I have read through quite a few forum posts talking about LMS and various recommendations. Moodle and eFront tend to pop up a bit more than others and I've found they are open source.
While I'm not all that familiar with coding and what not my company has a dedicated IT department that could help me. I am not opposed to using an already made product but lots of them are done from the internet or require a monthly cost which I would rather avoid. Our company also has its own intranet so I would only need to host it internally.
There are just under 1,000 employees at our location but currently we might have 10 employees at most training on the computers. The current process is an employee gets on a computer and starts a lesson through a link on the desktop which opens a .exe lesson on the hard drive. At the end of the lesson's test a .txt file is sent to a folder on one of our servers. This is then checked an uploaded onto an Oracle database. On the intranet, I can then do a search of the employees ID number and it will display a list of all the lessons they have taken and passed along with scores. I should also mention we currently have an archive folder containing ~44,000 .txt files from lessons what have been taken.
I would like to setup an LMS so that the employee enters their ID number and opens up an account/profile screen that shows the lessons available to them and if they have completed/passed those lessons and the ability to take them if they have not. I need one that would be able to receive scores from new Storyline lessons and retrieve .txt scores from our older lessons. We don't need forums, wikis, Q&A, profiles, etc.
What would be a good LMS to use with Storyline which I can host on our company intranet?

I wanted to welcome you to the Heroes community!
Although I don't know a lot about the LMS set up you're looking to achieve, I do see a lot of users discussing Sharepoint and their intranet, and there is also a discussion here about Sharepoint vs. Cornerstone and there is another post here on Which LMS Do You Use and Why?"
