Hi everyone! I am new to Storyline 360. I imported a ppt and created a button on the last page with triggers to complete the course and then to exit the course. I published as LMS (SCORM 1.2). When I complete the course in my PeopleSoft 9.2 ELM environment, it remains as an In Progress status instead of updating to Complete. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated! -Cathy
I am having the same issue with a course I published in our LMS. I went to view it and complete it to make sure everything looks good and is working fine. When I complete the quiz and hit "exit course" button, it still says " in progress"!
Really sorry you're both running into this status issue, Cathy and Gabriela.
When folks run into such oddities in their LMS, we recommend to test the course in SCORM Cloud–an industry-standard tool for testing AICC, SCORM, and Tin Can API (xAPI) content–to see how it behaves there. This helps to get a neutral baseline outside of the specific LMS used and will tell us if the problem is mostly related to the Storyline or LMS output.
Ah, thanks for popping back in with an update Gabriela and for sharing your SCORM Cloud results. Hopefully your LMS team will be able to help you out quickly :)
I tested my course in SCORM Cloud and it's doing what I expected, showing as incomplete even when I go through the entire course (which is what it was doing in my LMS) but is there a way I can see WHY it is incomplete? Like what isn't being satisfied?
This is dependent on how you have the course completion set in your course. This article outlines when the completion is communicated to the LMS and should shed light on why you may not be seeing it.
With your permission, we could take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Hello Cathy and Gabriela and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Are you wanting to report both completion and success status? Check out this documentation for the reporting options you have.

Let us know if you need help with testing, as we're happy to help!
Hi Katie,
I tested on SCROM Cloud today, works perfect on there. I will open up a support case with my LMS provider. Thanks for reaching out.
Leslie, I just need to report completion. And when the course is completed- it is still stuck in "in progress" mode.
