LMS Reporting - Please Help

Hi Community!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with courses reporting correctly to the LMS.  I have a handful of courses that are incorrectly reporting the completion status to our LMS and the LMS is insistent that the problem is with Storyline.  

All of the courses my company builds are tracked by slide completion and not quiz results, since our LMS can't retain quiz information, and due to previous issues we've had with courses we reduce the slide view requirement by at least half of the actual slides in the presentation (if not more).  

Recently, in a rather large learning path random users are reporting back to the LMS as failed when my tracking settings are set to slide completion and Passed/Incomplete.  It's very frustrating because with our current setup if they fail a course the user is prevented from moving forward.  

Tech support at my LMS did some searching and in the manifest.xml file they found that a mastery score was set and apparently that is causing the issue.  I know there has to be something else hinky going on becuase the people that are reporting to the LMS as failed are passing all the quizzes in the course, I watched them do it, and it's still reporting as failed.  

So, long story short, it's creating a lot of work on the back-end for my team having to force people through courses and override what the LMS is reporting.  Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any thoughts?
