LMS tracking a failed quiz

I am having an issue with my quiz in Storyline 2 where I cannot get my LMS to recognize a failed quiz. It is calculating the questions correctly and if they pass, it will required the passing score but the failing score will continue to show "In Progress"... I have changed the way it is reported to my LMS when I go to publish from "Passed/Incomplete" to "Passed/Failed" and it will still not register a failure of the quiz.
Secondly, when it shows it in progress, the student is able to then go back and when asked if they want to resume where they left off, it brings them back to the submission page which allows them to go back to quiz questions and can get a better score. Any help or thoughts appreciated!

Hi, Mark -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your difficulties! May I ask if you have had a chance to test how your course perform when you run through it in the SCORM Cloud? And would you be able to share the name of the LMS provider you use, in case others may be utilizing the same service and can share their experiences to assist?
Was this resolved? I am having the same problem with a Quiz Maker quiz. All passed tests are being recorded in the LMS, but the failed quizzes show up as in Progress.
Hi Heather!
I'm not seeing where we heard back from Mark on this issue. Are you seeing the same behavior within SCORM Cloud or is this issue limited to your LMS? if you are able to replicate, we would want to take a look at your .story file.
I have attached my findings for this. I am having the same issue. Seems it has been persisting for a few weeks (when I uploaded this course.)
Hi, Danielle -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! May I ask if you are finding the same results when you test your course on within SCORM Cloud, as well?
Per the last screen shot, I believe it is working.
Glad to hear you are all set, Danielle! Many thanks for stopping back in with an update.
Yeah basically, the issue lies with the LMS. I just wanted to comment on
this topic to let everyone know the problem as I was facing it so they could
maybe look for answers in that direction as well.
Check this out Heather, just had this discussion earlier this week and it sounds like the exact same issue you're having - https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/sr-l-d-specialist#reply-369387
