LMS VALIDATION

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me understand exactly how the LMS validates the courses. I'm having some issues with my final quizzes; even if the user fails the test, the course is over (validated) and they can't access it anymore.
In order to know what I'm doing wrong, could anyone shed any light on how a course is validated and how it is associated to the submitted score? I really don't know if it gets validated because of the submitted score, the end of the quiz or because the user exits the quiz.

this is probably a question for your LMS administrator or vendor. Or, you could let folks know which LMS you are using and someone may be able to help you out.
