I'm developing a course in SL2 that will eventually run on a multiple tablet devices. I want to know if there's a way to transfer the course files to a mobile device without first uploading it to a server. No LMS, No AWS, no tempshare folder, no dropbox. I just want plug the mobile device into my PC, transfer the files and run the course in the Articulate player app. Is that at all possible? If anyone has solutions or suggestions, I'd be most grateful.
You may want to go through the information here on how to publish for mobile devices. It is recommended to put the course in a webserver or LMS before sharing the files as viewing the content locally can cause issues.
