I've built a couple of courses using storyline and are testing them on an iPad. I'm experiencing a few second delay between clicking the next button and the next screen loading - in the HTML 5 version.
I was wondering if this is a known issue, something i'm doing wrong, and whether i can do anything to improve the speed?
HTML5 content took time to render after any interaction or jump to the next page.
After trial and error, we have found that the pages which were having too many triggers, conditions, lots of objects and multiple layers show hide based on the condition were taking more time then the simple pages.
We have split the page in multiple slides wherever possible, and after that it was loading a faster. But even after doing that the slight delay was also present.

The HTMl5 version like a web page will need to load all those elements, reducing the image quality may improve this
Agree with Phil.
Laura,
Reducing the size of the images improves loading of HTML 5 pages. In desktop as well as in i-Pad too.
Thanks guys,
I've tried reducing them, but might have to do so a bit more! :O)
Kind regards,
Laura

Hi Laura,
We were faced the same issue on iPad.

Hope, this will help.

Shailesh
