How can we lock down the navigation menu bar on the left in Storyline 1 so that the learner cannot advance and jump to the end of the course without looking at every slide? There is no audio in our lesson.
Unless you have to have the menu, get rid of it. My courses usually involve branching which makes a conventional menu less useful than it would be in a sequential front-to-back traditional course anyway.

This article discusses the Menu, including (about 2/3 of the way in) restricting or locking the menu:

Hi Priscilla,
Looks like John shared the Storyline 2 tutorial with you, so I just wanted to share the Storyline 1 behavior here.
Thank you so very much! We did it! ☺
