Lock drag objects
Oct 05, 2016
Hello Articulate Community,
I feel like I am asking a lot of questions lately. I am working on a project but also learning the tool as I go. I searched the forum, but could not find anything related to my question. I may not be searching the right terms.
I am wondering if you can lock dragable objects. For example, I have 5 dragable objects and 5 targets. If the correct dragable object is dragged to the correct target, a popup appears and says "Correct!, Play again?" The "Play Again" is a button. The user is suppose to click on the "Play again?" button and continue on.
What if the user ignores the play again button and starts dragging other objects into the other target areas? Well this is what my testers are doing. They are trying to break my game. :) Is there a way to lock down the objects so they will not move until the "play again" button is pressed?
Hopefully I have explained this well enough.
As always, thanks for your assistance.

I don't know exactly how you set up your project, but maybe you could put the Play Again button on a layer and set the layer properties so that items on the baselayer cannot be clicked.
Thanks for the reponse Michael. I should have attached my file.
I used the drag and drop template and the "Play Again" button is using the "Correct" feedback slide layer options. The Correct Feedback layer is updated to "Play Again". Can I set the feedback layer properties on the "Play Again" slide"? I attached my file so you can see my issue better.
The attached a screenshot of how the layer properties should be set. This also applies to the Try Again layer.
Ah...I haven't clicked on the tool button yet. This is it.
Thanks so much for the help.
