I'm not a fan of requiring users to view each slide or all the of a slide but that is what the client wants. Is there a way to require the user to view the entire slide before advancing to the next slide? I did that in articulate but haven't found that setting in Storyline.

Hi Barbara
depending on what elements you have on the slide and if you are using SL2 and the default navigation, you could add triggers e.g.
Change state of Next button to disabled when timeline starts on xx slide.
Change state of Next button to normal when
So you have to have Storyline 2 for this feature then? There is not a way on Storyline 1?
Hi Barbara,
the opportunity to change state of Next / Prev buttons isn't available in SL1 so here is a recent sample file I did for someone else using a variable.
If you still need help with your particular setup it's easier for someone in the forum to offer a solution if you can upload your .story file
HI Barbara,
Here are steps for disabling the next button in Storyline 1 until the user has interacted with all the elements on the slide.
Thanks so much. This is very helpful!!
