Locking Navigation

Mar 12, 2014

Hello,

I am looking to lock a student's ability to move forward in my storyline until they have successfully completed a self-knowledge check (basically an ungraded assessment/activity). I have it set to unlimited attempts so they can retry again and again if needed. I am familiar with triggers, but I am getting stumped on how to do this, I know it can't be that complicated. I use my own custom buttons/navigation bar. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You

Hi Alicia and welcome to Heroes!

If you're looking to restrict the navigation until a user has fully interacted with a slide, you may want to look into this tutorial here.  For quiz questions that are set to unlimited attempts, using the feedback layers that are automatically created they should continue to see the try again layer until they get it correct and wouldn't move past that slide until then.
