Logo Height in Left Storyline Panel

Feb 13, 2013

I've read other posts that indicate that the logo image in the left panel needs to be a certain width (244 pixels), but that height doesn't matter so much -- if the image height is tall, the menu area will be pushed down. I'm not finding that to be the case. No matter what size I make my logo image, the image is forced into a small logo area which will not expand. I WANT the menu area to be small, and the image area to be larger.

What setting am I missing?

Hi Rebecca,

I don't think you're missing anything, but I do think the information you read may have been for Presenter. I could be wrong, but the only information I can see that states the "push down" will occur is for Presenter. I see the same thing you're seeing in Storyline and I think this is by design. One option you could try, though, is to create your own menu in the Master. Have the logo take up as much room as you'd like and simply create a text menu with objects or text and have them linked to your course's sections. I'm not sure if that'd work for you, but it may get you started in the right direction.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Christine, thank you for the quick response. I always add "Storyline" to my search strings but the Presenter responses always display in the Storyline forums, too.

And, you read my mind. I just created another post (sadly!) because I'm trying to build my own menu in the Master slide and it's not cooperating. :-(

(Maybe I should just call it a day!)
