I want to make a looping animated object on a slide. Something that will keep on pulsing for the learner to access at time.
Beside using the default marker with pulse and swirl effect. Is there a simple way of making a object animation looped in SL2? I've tried through layers with no result.
It looks like Jeanette Brooks tackled a very similar question from another community member a while back. Here's the article which includes a sample .story project file so you can see how it's put together. As you suspected, layers and some timeline triggers are the solution she came up with to achieve this looping animation effect.
I've downloaded a couple of looping example from past discussions. They are
creative. I have yet to integrate these solution to an already existing
series of .story.
Definitly of great help but the integration, in an already existing
project, is the real challenge.
In SL2, you could use an offstage object that has a looped motion path animation attached. This 'looping object' can then be used to make something on the screen continuously blink, pulse, etc. See the second example here. This approach does not require layers.

Hi there, Richard!

Hope this helps you out!
I've seen it. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Wow, nice!
After posting, I started collecting example files on the forum but none of
them was exactly the kind of stuff I wanted.
Your example is dead on!
Thanks a lot for taking the time!
