Losing picture quality when the mouse is not over it

Oct 07, 2019

HI,

I have created a slide where a dial is moving a slider. I replaced the thumb of the slider by a large picture. So when I'm using the dial, the picture is going left and right. Pretty nice effect. But the picture is a little bit blurry when I'm using the dial. Once my mouse is over the picture, this one becomes clear. The image quality is set to maximum. It looks like the image becomes blurry when it loses the focus. Any idea why this is happening? Regards

Hello Philippe,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience with the slider thumb picture. We are looking into an issue where the slider thumb pictures are blurry in HTML5. Does this match what you are seeing as well? Is the image crisp in the Flash output?

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

HI,
I noticed that I had a hover state on the slider. NOt sure why I did that.
Sorry for this.
I can confirm that the HTML5 rendering is blurry and the Flash version is
clear, which a real issue for sure.

Thank you a lot for the prompt follow-up
