Hope you are doing well. We have a storyline 2 project which contains 10 languages like Spanish, French, Korean etc. The issue we are facing is when the translated *.doc file for Korean language is imported to *.story file, storyline keeps the font same as per *.doc file (generally we used to change the font for Asian languages for those files which are coming back from translation). but unable to keep the font formatting same as source i.e. Bold/Italics.
Any insight on this issue would be really helpful for us.
When you export text for translation, you may find that some text formatting (bold, italics, etc.) isn't saved. This issue was fixed in Update 5 for Articulate Storyline. See this article for more information.
Hi, I appreciate this is an older reply but I have just tried this feature in Storyline 3 and I have the same issue - all my formatting was lost. Suggestions? Thank you.
Hi there, Brigette. Sorry you're running into this!
What Storyline 3 update are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline. Also, what type of formatting is lost when you export for translation (bold, italics, bulleted text, paragraph spacing)?
