Lost Qizmaker Post- Assesment wihen imported into Storyline

Feb 07, 2013

Hi Jeanette!

How are you?

You have always come through for me and taught me so much.

(feel buttered up?? lol )

I need help.

I have a deadline, that may job depends on, of tomorrow Friday 2-8-13 to:

Post live 2 courses (4 were due - 2 are up already! yaye!)

That leaves the big ones:

1. SIDS Spanish

and

2. Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Spanish.

I am having of course 11th hour technical issues:

In SBS - I imported the powerpoint into Storyline and it lost the Post Assessment Quiz.

I thought I could figure out how to import the Quizmaker Quiz into storyline, but I am at a loss.

Ho can I import the Quiz??

Also:

In SIDS - which I also imported into storyline - when I publish the Post-assessment Quiz at the end (in the power point and story files) - it moves to the beginning of the course. Whackey.

Could it be I need to clear my browser cache?

I cleared it but have not re-published as I am working on SBS.

I still have to Import 4 videos in SBS.

Will you Please look for my posting in the Storyline Forum?

I will attach the SBS story file and the Quizmaker quiz.

Thanks a lot!!

Hi Dan,

When you import content from an Articulate Studio project into Storyline, it's important that the PowerPoint file and the PPTA file reside in the same folder. If the PPTA file is not in the same folder as your PowerPoint file, Storyline is unable to transfer stuff that you did via the Articulate menu in PowerPoint (such as inserted quizzes). However, since it sounds like your other content made its way in fine, at this point it's probably easiest to just directly import the quiz. You can do that by following the steps in this tutorial.

Regarding your other issue with the quiz showing up at the beginning instead of the end, would you mind submitting a support case so that our support team can take a look and help you troubleshoot? You can do that on the following page: http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/submit.php
