I am looking into purchasing Storyline as an authoring tool. We are a MAC environment company and my question is, does powerpoint need to be installed in the parallels environment or will powerpoint installed on a MAC work? Can you also explain why? This will help in my discussions with the IT department. Thank you!
SL is an entirely separate product from PowerPoint. The latter works with Studio, but is not needed for SL.
For general Mac feedback, I'd recommend doing a forum search for topics re Macs, Parallels and Fusion etc. There are a fair few people here successfully using Macs so it's definitely worth pursuing. I'm sure you'll see a few of them post their comments over the next day or so. If you have Parallels then install the 30 day trial and see how you get on :)
