MailTo Links

I have to add a "click to email" onscreen.  When I use the trigger "send email to" I find that it cannot be applied to a few words, just the whole text box.

So... I went ahead with the whole text box.  Load the course on the SCORM LMS, get to the page, click the text box and...

It causes a course exit.  No email.  Anyone else have this problem?

WORKAROUND:

Using INSERT > HYPERLINK - it seems to create a "Jump to URL/file" trigger.  I'm OK with that but... in Chrome, clicking the link does open a new Outlook email which is good, but it also opens a blank tab in Google Chrome which hides the course (bad).

Is there another workaround?
