Maintaining built in CC on mobile devices

I just wrapped up creating a short instructional course (my first using Storyline 2) and after a week of building in closed captioning using triggers and variables, published it and uploaded it to our staging site for review.  My course includes several Replay videos showing the user steps in a process. The CC is working fine on desktops, but on my iOS device once the course reaches a video, the video expands and takes over the screen hiding the CC layer, rendering it essentially useless if the user needs it.  Is there a way to prevent the video from expanding like this?
