We are currently using Storyline 2 and are considering upgrading to Storyline 3. When we go to maintenance the courses that were created in Storyline 2 (Flash), we want to convert them to HTML5. Sometimes, we are only changing text. Sometimes we are changing screens.
Will we lose any functionality or have issues with the courses that were originally Flash and will now be published in HTML5? Is there anything we should do to prep those courses prior to upgrading.

Here's a great chart that should help you get a better idea of what to expect between Flash output vs HTML5 output in Storyline 3.
Also, it's always a great idea to keep in mind browser support for each type of output which you can view right over here.
And of course- the best way to see first-hand with your specific courses would be to upgrade them and give them a whirl! You can download a free trial for Storyline 3 over here- and when you upgrade the courses a backup Storyline 2 file will be created incase you need to keep that version.
