Not that I'm aware of. One thing does come to mind, though - you could make an drag-able object that appears like a layer and place the content on top. Maybe even group the content.. but not sure if that would work. Then you could assign a trigger to show/hide the object, similar to a layer.
Can you give me an example of what you'd like to accomplish? Maybe I can try to put a more detailed suggestion together for you.
