I am trying to make a layer become visible after a correct answer to a quiz question, but can't seem to find the right instruction option in the trigger menu. I am sure this must be pretty simple, but I've gotten stuck. Anyone have a quick answer on this?
Hi Whitney. Are you using the built-in feedback layers that Storyline provides for quiz questions? If so, you could just customize the Correct feedback layer to display the content you want to show...that way everything will happen automatically.
Or - maybe you're wanting a custom layer to display in addition to the Correct feedback layer? If that's the case, you could create your custom layer, and on the Correct feedback layer, add a trigger to "Show layer [custom layer] when the timeline starts." In the layer properties for both the Correct layer and your custom layer, make sure the box next to "Hide other slide layers" is unmarked. That way both layers will display at the same time. See the attached for an example.
Thank you so much Jeanette. I knew it was probably something simple like this and that worked perfectly. I was trying to accomplish what you suggested with the second option with a custom layer in addition to the Correct Feedback layer.
