I am working on a simulation in an old "green screen" program and would like the user to submit their text entry responses using the control key (as its done in reality). I see in text entry how to change the submit keys, and it will let me change it to all sorts of keys, but not the control key. Does anyone have suggestions on how to work around this?
Thanks for the responses, but these are not working. I dont need a CTRL + combination. I need the text entry to submit when the user presses the control key only. I also tried using a hotspot shortcut key and Articulate wont let me enter the control key for that either.
If anyone has some solutions I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Good Afternoon, Jolon.
Your web browser will always receive the keystroke first, and it holds on to that keystroke waiting for the appropriate combination (CTRL+T, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, and so on).
Erich and Rebecca tossed around some cool ideas in this thread, as did Alexadros here.
Good luck with your project!

Hi Jolon,
Using the CTRL key on it's own would have to be submitted as a feature request.
Thanks!
