How can you design storyline so that the slides/video does not start automatically? I would like a feature like the one we see when we look at a tutorial on this site.
At the beginning, show a layer (through triggers) and set the layer properties to pause the baseline timeline. You can design a big play button that will hide this layer and then the baseline will start to play.

HI Kim,

That's what I was thinking. Thanks.
I always liked having a Paused layer.
You can use layers to pause the timeline of slide. On the Base Layer have Trigger that shows the PAUSE layer when the timeline starts.
Then on your PAUSE layer just have a button that hides the layer !
Let me know if you need an example
Till then
Hi Kim,
I did a Screenr walk through a little while back to explain the process that Jerson describes. I hope it helps. https://player.vimeo.com/video/149070794
