you can change the state of the Next button to disabled or hidden when the timeline starts and then trigger to change it to normal once the activity is completed.
Would the next and previous buttons still work when the user is reviewing their answers? I have set up a review slide so the user can see their results.
When learners review a quiz, they'll see Articulate Storyline's built-in Prev and Next buttons in the lower right corner of the player—even if you've disabled them throughout your course. See this article for more information.
