Making a video interactive (door open/close)

Hi All

Ok not sure if this is possible, or someone has got a good solution to this.

I am putting together a module on instruction to open a door. I have filmed the opening and closing of the door (with the person doing the opening/closing hidden) so the video just looks like the door opening/closing all by itself.

So here is what i would like to do, but unsure if possible.

Is there a way the learner can scroll across the screen so it appears as if they are opening/closing the door where they are just in fact scrolling the video, maybe by use of a slider?

If there is no way of doing this has anyone got a suggestion close to this idea?
