In my course, I have a pick-many activity. If the student chooses the correct responses within 3 attempts, they are given 3 points:
I'm developing a certificate of completion, and I want the checkmark by that activity to be HIDDEN if the student doesn't get those 3 points, but I don't know how to do that. It only lets me set states according to variables, but the points of a quiz aren't a variable:
Hi Rebecca, do you mean you want to have a report showing each question's result in a completion slide? If yes, you can create True/False variables for each question, and add a trigger to adjust the variable in each question's correct feeback layer. Then you set states according to the variables in the slide.
No, that's not exactly what I mean. I just want to change the state of an object on the condition of how many points the student received on that activity.
Could you create a variable that adjusts on your 'Correct layer', which of course relies on your user meeting your criteria and getting the points designated?
Yes, I'll try that. I guess I just don't understand what the purpose of the points are in the Pick Many activity if I'm just going to have to create a separate variable for it anyway. I set it for 3 - but where do those points go?

Hi Rebecca!

Perhaps we are not communicating well Rebecca.
You have the points designated for your question and that will reflect in the results of the quiz.
You said you needed a variable that adjusts so that you could change the state on another object, correct.
I simply suggested adding a variable that adjusts on the correct layer - which means the user gets those points, correct?
It could be a true/false variable - it does not need to be points/numbers.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding what you are needing :)
