Making buttons available in menu after section is complete

Hi everyone,

I'm totally stuck on a project. Here's the situation:

The course has a menu with these buttons: Overview, Knowledge, Assessment

I have it set up so that the user can only view the knowledge section once the overview is viewed.

My problem: I cannot set it so that the assessment button changes to normal once the user completes the the knowledge section of the course.

This seems so simple, and yet I cannot do it!

Please help! Thank you in advance!

I would use variables to control the button access

Thank you! I had a hard time following that, as I've never used variables in Storyline, but it pointed me in the right direction.

I watched THIS video, and was able to do what I needed to do.
