Making changes in templates

Hi all

I am quite new to Storyline so have been using the templates as I thought that would be an easier way to create something professional looking without using a designer (I am more of a content person).  however I am struggling a bit with making changes.  For example there is one slide in Vigor that has images of numbers in circles listing separate points.  I have been asked to change this to bullet points but can't work out how to do it.  I am also having difficulties with the limited text fields.  Is the only solution to this to delete and replace with my own text boxes and just try and replicate the styles in the templates?
