Hm, great question and not one I'd run into before! I think you'd have to copy and paste those elements onto a slide master. Another option may be to create a template for that slide and you could insert that as you go.
Thank you so much for your feedback. In the end we found another solution that did not require a master or template but I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind for the future.
It was quite a specific solution to the course build but it involved using the 'jump to previous slide' trigger (given that this will take the user to the last slide they viewed)

Hi Zoe,

I actually did create a slide master slide with triggers. It's possible, though it wasn't easy. The idea of a template is better is applicable.
In my case I had to do that because there was something I needed the slide to do but it wasn't properly working (here's that discussion: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/button-sets-on-master-slides)
It's better to use templates and save the slide master for object and slide formats.
Thank you so much for your feedback.

Thanks for the update Zoe, and if your solution is one that others could benefit from please feel free to share here.

Sounds good Zoe - and understandably not every solution will work for all scenarios but it's good to check!
