I am trying to make an interactivity where X's appear when wrong answers are given and stay on the screen through additional layers. I also want squares (covering a picture) to disappear when correct answers are given (revealing the picture) and I want the squares to stay hidden through additional layers. If anyone can help with this, I would be so grateful. Thank you!
Have you tried to create this yet? If I'm understanding correctly, if the box is hidden on the base layer, it should remain hidden. This would apply to the X's as well. If you have a version that you're having trouble with and can attach it here, that would help.
You could also just have the picture set to "Hidden" at the start of the slide and then change its state to "Normal" when the user clicks the correct answer.
I have set the X's to hidden and then changing states to normal when clicked. But, when you go to the next layer, they are hidden again instead of staying "normal". That's the problem. And the boxes are the reverse. I want them be become hidden when clicked (which they do) but then on the next layer, they are "normal" again.

Hi Jesse (love the dog!)
Here is what my activity looks like (see attachment)
Let me know if it doesn't come through. And THANK YOU!

Hi jesse,

I fixed the slide. Here's how I did it:
1. Removed all the triangle shapes from the other layers (besides the base)
2. Removed the X's from the other layers as well
3. Reworked the triggers throughout so that they manipulate the shapes on the base layer.
Let me know if this works for you and if you need more explanation.
Also, the layers seemed to be a bit out of order. I fixed that as well.
And that's Seymour by the way My best bud!
