I have successfully created one simulation from a video; however, when I insert other videos in to the same presenation, I am not able to make simulations out of them.
When I click the Record Screen, the only video I see is the first one. The other video do not appear in this drop down which would let me create simulations from them.
How do I create more than one simulation in a presentation?
I'm not sure I'm following the steps you're taking - if you're looking at the "Record screen" drop down, the list there would show any of the screen recordings included in the project. If you've yet to record them but have just inserted videos they would not appear there. If you're looking to record new videos (or screen record the videos) you'll want to open and play the video outside of Storyline (or in a new instance of Storyline) and use the "Record screen" button to start the recording.
You may also want to look into using Replay, which is free with an existing Storyline license.
Thank you for your assistance. This is now working very well. I do have another questions -- is it possible to simulate key strokes? For example: I want them to delete a word using both the Backspace key and the Delete key on their keyboard. How can I simulate this?
Without seeing your set up, I'm not sure how this would work for you, but you can assign a trigger to occur when a user presses a key - say the delete or back space key. It may not look as though they're deleting the word letter by letter, but instead the whole word...so you may need to play around with set up a bit, or include some animation of the word being deleted.
