I am working on a project in Storyline 360 and have added in audio, how can I force users to listen to the entire audio before they can click the next button? We are not useing next button triggers but rather the next and previous buttons provided in storyline under slide navigations. Any advice is appreciated.
In a similar vein, I'm looking for more options to manage audio on base slide when there are layers. Essentially we want learners to listen to an audio intro. Then click on layers. I've usually done this by timing the buttons or interactions to not appear until audio ends. Are there other ideas?
Hopefully some instructional designers can pop in and chime with their ideas, but another option you can try is layering a transparent shape over the buttons or interactions until the audio ends.
That way, they won't be able to click on anything despite being able to see it.

You can use a player setting to restrict navigation. Take a look at this support article:

Thank you Melanie, I appreciate the help!

Hi Kira,
