I thought I posted this early but now I do not see it. Attached are screenshots of the same web object, one published using the April 26th update (webobject broken.jpg) and the other with March 21 version of Storyline (webobject working.jpg. Basically it is no longer responding to the browser size changing. I had to revert to April 26th release to get it sizing properly again.
We are pointing to Survey Monkey through a URL and even that gets completely resized in a weird way. It shows half the survey and creates vertical and horizontal scrollbars. Is this being looked at as bug ?
Our team is looking into a similar issue with web object, where they're not sized correctly or you can't scroll through them. In our testing so far it is limited to viewing in Chrome and when the player is set to "Scale player to fill browser". The scrolling issue is even more evident when the browser in maximized or set to full-screen.
Does that match your experience? If you're able to share a copy of the .story file here with us I can share that with the team as a part of the report! If you're running into something else, we'd also love to take a look and nail the issue down further.
For either option, you can upload at this link using the Add Attachment button or you always have an option to share privately with our Support Engineers. Either way, we'll delete it when done testing.
The webobjects used to scale with the browser prior to version 3.26. But starting with version 3.26 in April webobjects no longer scale, and now get scrollbars when the browser is too small.
I created a very simple test to illustrate the problem, and am providing the source files.
Compare the same storyfile here published with versions 3.25 and 3.32 (and resize your browser to see the difference)

Good to know that worked. I will try using %'s when I get a chance.

Hi Curtis,
Our team is looking into a similar issue with web object, where they're not sized correctly or you can't scroll through them. I attached a single slide with a web object here: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/march-21-release-of-storyline-is-changing-the-way-webojects-size-on-the-stage Let me know if that works
Our setting are Modern Player OFF
Thanks, Curtis. I'll attach that .story file to our report. This conversation is attached so that we can share updates with you here as well.
I do not see the fix in the latest release. :( Wondering how people are working around this. I guess we use more web objects than most developers?
Some of our web objects are coming from URL's like survey monkey, we cannot control the formatting unfortunately.
Checking in on this. Our team is not updating Storyline until this is fixed. :)
THANKS!
Hi Curtis,
I'm sorry, I don’t currently have any updates, but we'll be sure to keep everyone in this discussion in the know when any progress has been made!
I just posted the same problem on this discussion: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/scaling-and-web-objects
The webobjects used to scale with the browser prior to version 3.26. But starting with version 3.26 in April webobjects no longer scale, and now get scrollbars when the browser is too small.

Note that I tried Modern and Classic (with scaling) players and the results are the same.

In the update, you'll find that Web Objects are no longer misaligned and sized incorrectly in the published output using the Modern Player!
