Marker and Checkbox size

Hello!
I've found that when I increase my project resolution, some objects (namely markers and checkboxes) become TINY. I think more realistically, they're staying the same size and the project is growing around them.
I've seen in several older discussions that it was impossible to change the size of the marker, but I was wondering if anyone has found a work around to this? The best I can do is change its effective size by bloating the line thickness, but the icon in the center stays tiny.
Any help is massively appreciated!

Hi, Jason -- Thanks so much for reaching out here and sorry for your troubles! Would it be possible for you to share an example or a screenshot to help illustrate what you are describing?
Hi Christie!
Here's a shot of the full screen at 1920x1080. I have a marker placed next to a 30x30px object.

And again at 720x405

It would appear that the absolute size remained, despite everything else in converted presentations gets scaled. The 30x30px object was shrunk to 11x11px when I converted from the higher resolution to the lower. I then changed it back to 30x30 for the snapshot.
I've found a way to recreate the marker idea by bringing in a picture and setting a hover state that includes a text box, but I have to edit the state to edit the text box and that's a few more steps multiplied by a heavy use of markers!
Thanks for any help you can provide!
