Marker

Hi Freek and welcome to Heroes! 

If Storyline is behaving oddly, you'll first want to check into the following (in this order):

• Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. 
• You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
• Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
• If it's only happening in this one file, you may want to try importing it into a new Storyline project to see if that resolves the issue. 
• Conduct a simple repair of Storyline

Thank you for your welcome!

I've checked your first three points and performed the 4th: importing into a new Storyline project.

It appeared only slides based on one particular master slide AND containing a marker wouldn't render in preview  and published mode.

Rebuilding that one master slide solved my problem.

(I don't know what made the master slide faulty.)

Thanks for the update and I'm glad the import solved your problem. What update of Storyline are you using? There was a known issue with markers on slide masters that was fixed it update 3.
