Markers boxes have dark background fill for some users

Hi there,

One of our students is having an issue viewing text within markers. When trying to open a solution to a question which is placed within a marker, the student is seeing only a black filled box when clicking on the marker. The storyline file and published file on the LMS looks fine on my PC (I've attached the .story file) and the marker box includes a readable solution, so I can't seem to replicate the problem they are experiencing.

I have attached screenshots of the issue which have been sent by the student. They are using a Tablet device and viewing through Chrome. 

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for contacting us and sharing the details, images, and the project file for us to take a look.

I published your course and viewed it on an iPad with iPadOS 13.3.1 using Chrome and the markers displayed as expected for me.

  • Do you know what kind of tablet they are using?
  • Are you able to replicate the behavior?
