I want to indicate that a module is complete with a checkmark on the main navigation screen. I think I should use layers to do this vs. triggers but aren't sure how to program this. The navigation system is not locked and users can go to any screen they want. What I'm wishing to show is below. Any ideas how to do this?
Every module has its own variable (which is set by default to false). Whenever you feel that a module is finished, (cab be last slide, can be quiz...) you set that corresponding variable to true.
On the main slide (where you have the tick boxes) you'll need to change the state of the ticks.
For each tick box you add a trigger that changed the status of the tick box to visible when the corresponding variable is set to true.
Do not forget to set the state of you slide 'set to initial' when revisiting...
Have a look at the attached file, and how the menu works, and you should be able to see it all in action, (example of what Geert said above, so +1 for that).
Hi David! If you can share your project file with us, we can have a look and see what's going on.
Without seeing it, I might suggest to make your lightbox slide trigger to change the state of your tick boxes (or whatever you're using to show that it's complete) based on the timeline starting.
For example: Change the state of "tick box 1" to "complete" when the timeline starts on "lightbox slide" IF variable equals true.
The timeline starting is an action that will happen when you open the lightbox slide, so that trigger can fire if the variable is true.
Can you let us know what isn't working and what format you're referring to? Also, if you're able to share your file publicly here, feel free to do so by clicking Add Attachment, otherwise you can share it privately with me here, and I'll delete once I'm done taking a look!
This will give me a better idea of what to troubleshoot and offer some tips!

Thank you for the instructions and the example which helps it all make sense!
Does this work in a lightbox? Doesn't seem to be working for me – have I missed something?

This is now not working in the new format. Is there a video to show how to do this now?
