Wondering if anyone else has experienced this dilemma: The master slide does not align with the slide? It looks like this (attachment 1) in the Slide Master View, and displays like this (attachment2) in the Slide View. In Preview, it looks normal (attachment3). Is this a product bug, or has something happened to my version of Storyline? I get the same effect no matter what Storyline template I use/view.
This thread is a bit older, so I'm not sure that you're still experiencing the same thing since Milton shared it also worked for him after a much earlier update. Are you able to share your .story file here with us using the "add attachment" button?
Thanks for the follow-up - I've attached an example - in Preview mode the master is lower on the screen than it is in the slide view while I am programming. Thanks for any insight.
Thanks again for sharing your .story file. I took a look using Storyline 2 Update 10, and viewing it on my Windows 8.1 machine. I didn't see any shift of elements from the slide master view, the story view or previewing it. I took a quick screenshot of the last two to compare them, and again no shift that I noticed. Do you have any screenshots of the behavior occurring that I could take a look at?

All,
Upgrading to Storyline Update 2 (Released 12-14-12) fixed this misalignment problem in the Master Slide and Slide View layouts.
Glad to hear it, Milton! Thanks for confirming.
I have the same problem and am working in the latest SL2 version. Any suggestions?

Here is story view while editing:
Here is the preview mode:
You'll also want to confirm you're working on local project files, as working off a network/shared drive is known to cause odd behavior with Storyline files.
